I came to this blog via your comment on Brickhouse Dudley manhole covers in the Rowley Regis Grammar School group on Facebook. I’m a former RRGS girl and my dad worked for Brickhouse Dudley for many years. I live in Australia now, so obviously don’t see them here, but just reading your words about them brought back memories. Thanks for posting them!

So, you’re a ‘Grammar Grub’ too - what years were you there? I was 1966-1973 and had a couple of brothers there too.

I was there from 1973-80. though technically it stopped being a Grammar in 1974.
